Will there be sharks? And do I need to be worried about them ?
There are sharks but consider yourself lucky if you get to see one. Sharks are scared of us so sightings are rare. Our most common shark is a docile nurse shark
Check-in at The Dive Shop and fill out boat waivers before boarding, please note that the departure time is when the boat leaves the dock.
Look out for turtles and dolphins on your half hour ride out to the reef. During this time our knowledgeable crew will fit everyone for snorkel gear, show you how to properly snorkel if you are new and brief you on the local wildlife that inhabits our reefs.
You will get to visit 2 different coral reef locations. We spend around an hour at each site with a 10 minute break in between as we travel between reefs. The captain will brief you on all the best spots and unique features each reef has to offer. After the second location we head back to shore on another half hour boat ride.
